Denmark weekend weather outlook and local incidents

The Danish Meteorological Institute expects cooler temperatures this weekend, ranging from 17 °C to 23 °C, with sunshine on both Saturday and Sunday but occasional showers, especially in Jutland. Meteorologist Klaus Larsen warned that a brief shower may fall on Saturday evening, though it should clear by night.

Police traffic checks on the Starup–Øsby stretch near Haderslev resulted in 26 drivers receiving fines, two of whom lost points on their licences; one driver was clocked at 126 km/h where the limit is 80 km/h. The national road authority also reported a temporary smoke plume on the E45 motorway near Kolding, which has since cleared.
