Dennis Cirkin joins QPR on free transfer from Sunderland

Dennis Cirkin has joined QPR on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Sunderland. The 22-year-old left-back, who grew up in London, returns to the city to join the Championship side as they reshape their squad under head coach Julien Stéphan and chief executive Christian Nourry.

Cirkin brings significant experience to QPR, having made 127 appearances for Sunderland, including involvement in their promotion campaigns. His recent tenure at Sunderland was hampered by injuries, including a wrist injury that limited his appearances during their Premier League campaign.

In addition to the signing of Cirkin, QPR has also seen the departure of 21-year-old center-back Tylon Smith, who has moved to the MLS club New England Revolution.
