Dennis Man faces criticism following PSV Eindhoven appearance

Romanian international Dennis Man has faced scrutiny following his recent involvement with PSV Eindhoven. After being included in the starting lineup for a 1-2 loss against ADO Den Haag, Man was substituted at halftime, receiving a Sofascore rating of 6.3.

Former Moroccan midfielder Karim El Ahmadi criticized Man’s performance on ESPN, noting that the player played many balls on the right wing. El Ahmadi also suggested that PSV lacks creativity in certain areas following the absence of key players like Saibari.

In contrast, former PSV triple champion Arnold Bruggink defended the player during an ESPN broadcast. Bruggink argued that it is “very unfair” for coach Peter Bosz to demand immediate results from Man after a long period of inactivity. Bruggink emphasized that Man is a player who requires consistent minutes and confidence to perform at his expected level, noting that the sudden pressure to make a difference without match rhythm is difficult for the player.
