Dennis Miracles Aboagye receives endorsement from Gordon Asare-Bediako

Gordon Asare-Bediako has withdrawn his bid for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Communications Director position to endorse Dennis Miracles Aboagye. Asare-Bediako stated that his decision was made to prevent internal division and to ensure the party's energies are focused on defeating the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 general election.

Asare-Bediako noted that after consulting with stakeholders and comparing visions with Aboagye, he found significant alignment between their goals for rebuilding the party's communications machinery. He also issued an apology to his supporters for the sudden withdrawal.

In a separate reflection, Dennis Miracles Aboagye disclosed that his 2020 appointment as Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Akuapem North was terminated by President Nana Akufo-Addo without explanation. Aboagye stated the termination occurred via text message on the final day of a voter registration exercise, three months prior to the 2020 general elections.
