Dennis Schroder sets NBA record with 25-point games for nine different teams
Dennis Schroder has become the first player in NBA history to score at least 25 points in a single game for nine different franchises. The 33-year-old guard achieved this milestone while playing for the Charlotte Hornets during a 115-110 victory over the Miami Heat.
Schroder’s performance included 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. The nine teams for which he has recorded such a scoring feat are the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, Sacramento Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Charlotte Hornets.
Currently playing for the Hornets, which marks the 12th team of his career, Schroder is approaching the record for most franchises played for, held by Ish Smith with 13. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 2013 and has since played for numerous organizations including the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, and Detroit Pistons.
