Anta Sports executives appointed to Puma supervisory board
Following Anta Sports' acquisition of a 29.06% stake in Puma SE for approximately 1.5 billion euros, the Chinese sportswear group has significantly increased its influence within the German brand's leadership structure.
Dennis Tao, Head of M&A and Capital Markets at Anta Sports, has been elected as the new Chairman of Puma’s Supervisory Board. Tao, along with Jeanne Huang, a former Anta vice president, was appointed to the board via court order. Their mandates are set to run until Puma’s annual general meeting in May 2027.
The leadership changes follow the completion of the sale of Artemis SAS’s stake in Puma to Anta earlier this month. This transaction also resulted in the conclusion of the tenures of former Chair Héloïse Temple-Boyer and Deputy Chair Jean-Marc Duplaix. Roland Krüger has taken over as Deputy Chairman and Audit Committee Chair.
Separately, Puma has appointed Arne Arens as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and member of the Management Board, effective November 15, 2026. Arens will oversee the company’s global sales organization and market strategy.
