Denny Indrayana prepares legal defense against pre-trial motion

Former Deputy Minister of Law and Human Rights, Denny Indrayana, has announced his readiness to face a pre-trial motion filed by volunteers of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The lawsuit, registered at the South Jakarta District Court, concerns Indrayana’s legal status regarding an alleged 2015 corruption case involving a passport online service payment gateway project at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Indrayana has formed a specialized legal defense team named ‘Insight’ (Indrayana’s Fight). The team includes several prominent Indonesian legal figures and former leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), such as Abraham Samad, Bambang Widjojanto, and Busyro Muqoddas, alongside various legal experts.
