Densetsu no Sutadon-ya to discount fried rice in Japan

The bowl restaurant chains ‘Densetsu no Sutadon-ya’ and ‘Meibutsu Sutadon no Mise’ are launching a 100-yen discount campaign on various fried rice products. The promotion will run for ten days, from October 13 to October 22, 2026, at locations across Japan.

The campaign celebrates the fried rice menu surpassing 50,000 cumulative servings sold. Originally a limited-time offering that re-entered the market in August 2026, the menu item was transitioned to the permanent ‘grand menu’ on October 1 following high consumer demand and social media popularity.

Discounted items include the standard fried rice, as well as variations such as Tsukimi (egg yolk), Kimchi, Karaage (fried chicken), Chashu (pork), Stamina, and Omurice styles. The standard fried rice, which weighs 370g and is prepared using lard and high heat, will be available for 830 yen instead of the usual 930 yen.
