Dental health initiatives launched for children in Argentina and Mexico

In Argentina, the Fundación Sol Más Sonrisas has launched a toothbrush collection campaign in Mar del Plata to support the students of the Jardín de Infantes y Casa del Niño Juanito Bosco. The initiative, held during the Month of Childhood, aims to provide hygiene tools and promote healthy habits. Donors can contribute new, boxed toothbrushes for children and adults at designated collection points, including Clínica Sol Odontología and Naranja X.

In Mexico, the Colegio Odontológico de Jalisco has introduced the ‘Apadrina una Sonrisa’ (Sponsor a Smile) campaign. This program invites dentists in Jalisco to volunteer their services to provide dental care to vulnerable children and adolescents. The organization conducts comprehensive assessments, including X-rays and diagnoses, before assigning patients to volunteer dentists based on their specialty and availability. The initiative focuses on high-need areas in Guadalajara to improve the lives of youth through dental health.
