Dental industry updates: Stern Weber Polska showroom redesign and digital scanning in education

Stern Weber Polska is unveiling a redesigned showroom, which is the largest dental equipment exhibition in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. The new layout will be presented during the Stern Weber Polska Trade Days in Warsaw, scheduled for September 17–19, 2026. The 250 m² space allows professionals to test 19 dental units, tomographs, X-ray machines, and Zeiss microscopes in environments simulating daily clinical practice.

In a separate development regarding dental training, research from the Southwest Primary Care Dental School in Plymouth highlights the role of digital intraoral scanners in education. While dental students view digital scanning as an engaging and essential tool for modern practice that improves patient communication, educators emphasize that digital technology should not replace traditional clinical competencies. The study suggests that future dentists must understand both the benefits and the technical limitations of digital tools to ensure effective practice.
