dentsu appoints Prerna Mehrotra as Singapore CEO

Prerna Mehrotra has been appointed as the new CEO of dentsu Singapore, effective October 1, 2026. She will assume the role while maintaining her current position as Chief Client Officer, APAC.

Mehrotra succeeds Prakash Kamdar, who is departing the network after 15 years. Kamdar, who joined dentsu in 2011 following the acquisition of his agency The Upper Storey, most recently served as CEO of Clients & Solutions for Southeast Asia and as CEO of Singapore.

During his tenure, Kamdar led the Singapore business through a period of transformation and capability integration. Mehrotra, a ten-year veteran of dentsu, intends to focus on strengthening client partnerships, integrating local and regional capabilities, and fostering innovation and talent growth within the Singapore market.
