Dentsu Game Center unveils AI-powered roguelite 'Verse of Birth

At the Tokyo Game Dungeon 13 event, Dentsu's internal club, Dentsu Game Center, showcased 'Verse of Birth', a deck-building roguelite game that utilizes generative AI.

In the game, players can input free-text descriptions to generate original characters. The system uses Adobe Firefly to translate these words into visual character designs and ChatGPT to handle names and text. To maintain gameplay balance, the AI-generated characters operate within predefined parameter ranges.

While the combat features an auto-battle mechanic, players must engage in strategic positioning on a grid and manage skill synergies. The title is planned for release on PC via Steam.
