DENTUROD President calls for unity to boost Denizli tourism

Levent Altuntaş, President of the Denizli Tourist Hoteliers and Operators Association (DENTUROD), has emphasized the need for increased cooperation between the public sector, municipalities, and civil society to advance tourism in Denizli.

Altuntaş stated that the new management is focusing on identifying key investment needs, particularly in the Denizli city center and the Karahayıt and Pamukkale regions. He aims to establish a more institutionalized structure within DENTUROD through committees and commissions to ensure long-term stability.

Highlighting the region's potential, Altuntaş noted that Denizli is a significant hub for cultural, religious, and thermal tourism. He cited that approximately 2 to 2.5 million foreign tourists enter through Pamukkale annually, with major sites including Laodicea, Hierapolis, and the Church of Saint Philip.
