Denver Broncos defeat Los Angeles Rams as Matthew Stafford sets NFL pick-six record

The Denver Broncos defeated the Los Angeles Rams 30-26 during a Week 3 NFL Sunday Night Football matchup at Empower Field at Mile High.

During the game, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford set a new NFL record for the most career pick-sixes thrown, reaching 33 interceptions returned for touchdowns. This surpassed the previous record of 32 held by Brett Favre. The record-setting play occurred in the fourth quarter when Talanoa Hufanga intercepted a pass intended for Kyren Williams and returned it 67 yards for a touchdown.

Despite Stafford completing 30 of 55 passes and throwing two touchdown passes, the Rams struggled against the Broncos' defense. Hufanga also intercepted a final attempt intended for Davante Adams with five seconds remaining on the clock, securing the victory for Denver.
