Denver Broncos rout Minnesota Vikings 34-6 in preseason finale

The Denver Broncos defeated the Minnesota Vikings 34-6 in their preseason finale on Friday night. Sam Ehlinger led the performance, completing 15 of 20 passes for 233 yards and three touchdowns, including an 88-yard strike to rookie tight end Justin Joly.

Running back Cody Schrader was a standout for Denver, recording 42 rushing yards and 90 receiving yards, including a touchdown catch. Jarrett Stidham also contributed to the victory, leading two scoring drives that included a field goal and a touchdown run by fullback Adam Prentice.

Neither team utilized their starting quarterbacks during the contest. Minnesota did not play backup J.J. McCarthy, who is managing a minor ankle injury. For the Broncos, wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. sustained a right foot injury during the opening drive after recently returning from a lower leg injury.
