Denver International Airport opens new terminal areas and security checkpoint

Denver International Airport (DEN) has unveiled several transformed sections of the Jeppesen Terminal as part of its ongoing Great Hall Program. Key updates include a new “meet and greet” area for international arrivals and passengers returning from the A Bridge, which features seating, an information booth, and public art.

A new eight-lane North Security Checkpoint is now operational, opening daily from 12:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. to assist international passengers. However, airport officials noted that travelers using CLEAR or TSA PreCheck should utilize the East or West Checkpoints for better availability.

Additionally, the airport is returning several iconic artworks to the Great Hall that had been in storage for several years, including “Mile High and Rising” by Marcus Akinlana and “La Memoria de Nuestra Tierra” by Judith Baca. The project aims for full completion by the end of next year.
