Denza launches Z9 GT and D9 EV in Brazil with ultra-fast charging

Denza, a luxury brand under BYD, has expanded its operations in Brazil with the launch of two new electric models: the Z9 GT and the D9 EV minivan. The Z9 GT is a high-performance electric model featuring three motors, delivering 952 hp and capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds. It also introduces the ‘Crab Walk’ maneuverability feature and automatic parking. The D9 EV is a seven-seater executive minivan with a 115 kWh battery and a declared range of up to 600 kilometers.

Alongside these launches, Denza introduced its ‘Flash Charging’ technology to the Brazilian market, which supports ultra-fast recharging up to 1500 kW. The Z9 GT will be the first vehicle in the country compatible with this specific charging infrastructure. The company reported that Denza has already reached the fourth position among premium manufacturers sold in Brazil within eight months of starting national operations.
