Denza opens permanent Christchurch showroom

Denza, a premium brand under the BYD Group, is transitioning from a temporary pop-up location at Northlands Mall to a permanent showroom in Christchurch. The new facility is located at 36 Manchester Street and is intended to serve as a dedicated base for the brand in the South Island.

The showroom will host an official opening on Friday, 25 September, followed by a public opening weekend on 26–27 September. The local product range includes the B5 and B8 Hybrid 4×4 SUVs, as well as the D9 all-electric luxury people mover.

Daniel Fang, country manager for Harmony New Zealand, stated that the investment aims to establish Denza as a premium automotive brand with a genuine presence across New Zealand. The Christchurch operations are managed by Harmony Auto, which also operates the brand's East Auckland location.
