Denza premium EV brand launches in Morocco and expands dealer network in Germany

Chinese automaker BYD's premium electric-vehicle brand Denza entered the African market with a launch in Morocco, becoming the continent's first country to host the brand. The rollout includes the brand's Flash Charging technology and the e3 platform, which features three independent motors and advanced maneuvering capabilities such as crab‑walk and autonomous parking.

In Europe, German car‑dealer group Klaus+Co announced it will become Denza's partner for the Schleswig‑Holstein region. The partnership will introduce the Denza Z9 GT and D9 models, with plans to add the Z supersport car and Bao 5 SUV. Klaus+Co aims to help Denza reach about 40 sales locations and 120 service sites in Germany by the end of 2026, and will install 1 000 kW Flash‑Chargers for rapid charging.

Both moves are part of Denza's broader strategy to expand its premium EV presence beyond Asia into new international markets.
