Denza, the luxury brand of BYD, has opened pre-sales for the Denza Z9S, a new electric sedan positioned in the large sedan segment. The Z9S features battery capacities of 102.3 kWh and 122.5 kWh. Depending on the version, the car offers driving ranges of 780 km, 920 km, and up to 1,100 km based on the Chinese CLTC measurement standard.
Performance options include a rear-wheel-drive single-motor version producing 370 kW (approximately 496 to 503 horsepower) and a high-performance triple-motor all-wheel-drive variant. The triple-motor version delivers 890 kW (approximately 1,193 to 1,210 horsepower) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.68 seconds, though it offers a lower driving range compared to the more efficient models.
