Denzel Boston makes NFL history in first two games with Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Denzel Boston has made an immediate impact in his first two NFL games. The second-round draft pick has recorded seven receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Boston has achieved a rare statistical feat, becoming only the fourth player in NFL history to open a career with two touchdown catches of at least 45 yards. His scoring plays occurred against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson and veteran cornerback Denzel Ward have both praised the rookie’s performance. Ward noted that Boston is playing like a veteran rather than a rookie, suggesting the team views him as a potential No. 1 receiver.
