Los Angeles Chargers place Denzel Perryman on injured reserve

The Los Angeles Chargers are adjusting their roster following several injury and practice squad changes. Veteran linebacker Denzel Perryman has been placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, which will cause him to miss a minimum of four games. Head coach Jim Harbaugh indicated that while the four-game period is mandatory, the exact return timeline will depend on his rehabilitation.

In addition to Perryman, the team placed wide receivers Sincere Brown and Dalevon Campbell, along with linebacker Kyle Kennard, on injured reserve. These players had previously been placed on waivers and went unclaimed.

To bolster the roster, the Chargers signed cornerback Kaiir Elam, defensive tackle Jordan Jefferson, and wide receiver Theo Wease to the practice squad. To facilitate these moves, the team released defensive lineman Jahmeer Carter, wide receiver Devonte Ross, and cornerback Isas Waxter from the practice squad.
