Denzel Ward pledges to remain with Browns after Garrett trade

The Cleveland Browns completed a blockbuster deal that sent All‑Pro pass rusher Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams. In exchange, Cleveland received Pro Bowl edge rusher Jared Verse, a 2027 first‑round draft pick and additional compensation.

Cornerback Denzel Ward told reporters he still wants to be in Cleveland, describing Garrett as a good friend and teammate and affirming his commitment to the team. Ward said the organization remains focused on competing and building for the future despite the roster change.
