Deoghar police investigate shooting death of Bihar man

A 27-year-old man, identified as Roshan Kumar from Banka district in Bihar, was shot dead in the Deoghar district of Jharkhand on Monday night. The incident occurred near Ranga Mod in the Nagar police station area.

An unidentified individual transported the victim to Deoghar Sadar Hospital on a Bullet motorcycle, claiming that Kumar had been injured in a road accident. However, medical staff discovered gunshot wounds near the victim's eye and the back of his head, contradicting the accident report. Hospital management immediately alerted the Baidyanathdham OP and Nagar police.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the shooting and are searching for the individual who brought the victim to the hospital. Police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to determine the exact time and location of the crime.
