Deogratius Ndejembi calls for accountability at Vice-President's office

Tanzanian Vice President Deogratius Ndejembi has called for increased accountability, innovation, and commitment from staff at the Office of the Vice-President, Union and Environment. During his first official visit to the office in Mtumba, Dodoma, Ndejembi urged employees to move away from routine work habits to ensure government responsibilities are met efficiently and on time.

The Vice President emphasized the need for tangible results that benefit the nation and its citizens. He specifically highlighted the importance of safeguarding the Union through sustainable planning and public education.

Regarding environmental policy, Ndejembi directed leaders and staff to implement sustainable conservation agendas. This includes maximizing the impact of tree-planting campaigns and urban cleanliness initiatives, as well as developing specific strategies to help citizens transition away from daily activities that cause environmental degradation.
