Deolane Bezerra remains in custody amid money laundering probe

Digital influencer and lawyer Deolane Bezerra remains in custody at the Tupi Paulista Female Penitentiary in São Paulo as investigations continue under Operação Vérnix. The operation is looking into suspected involvement with a criminal organization related to money laundering.

Following a recent visit, Bezerra’s sister, Dayanne Bezerra, shared updates regarding her sister’s well-being and routine. Dayanne noted that Deolane has been maintaining personal grooming and has been keeping a diary to record her daily experiences and reflections while incarcerated.

Deolane has expressed gratitude to her fan clubs, stating that the telegrams and messages she receives provide her with psychological strength. Despite multiple legal attempts by her defense to revoke her preventive detention or convert it to house arrest, the judiciary has denied these requests for the sixth time, maintaining her custody.
