Deolane Bezerra's sister defends family honesty amid money‑laundering accusations

Lawyer Daniele Bezerra, the sister of Brazilian social‑media influencer Deolane Bezerra, posted on Instagram on 31 May to protest her sibling’s detention and to assert the family’s integrity. She said the family has a “clear conscience” and denounced what she described as premature accusations and public judgment.

Deolane Bezerra remains incarcerated at the Tupi Paulista Women’s Prison in the interior of São Paulo, accused of participation in a money‑laundering scheme linked to the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). Daniele pledged to provide the “necessary clarifications” to the competent authorities and urged that justice be pursued in the courts rather than on social media.
