Deolane Bezerra's sister defends her amid money laundering probe

Dayanne Bezerra has defended her sister, influencer and lawyer Deolane Bezerra, against social media criticism regarding her composure during Deolane’s arrest. Dayanne stated that social media posts do not reflect the family's actual suffering and that she must remain strong for her sister during private visits.

Dayanne also challenged the evidence presented in the ongoing investigation. She claimed that allegations regarding Deolane’s marital status and the number of companies she owns lack documentary support, suggesting that public claims are based on inaccuracies.

Deolane Bezerra has been in preventive detention since May as part of Operação Vérnix. The investigation, conducted by the São Paulo Public Prosecutor's Office and Civil Police, is looking into alleged involvement in a money laundering scheme linked to the financial structure of the PCC criminal organization. The defense denies all accusations.
