Deoleo sale a la venta: Coricelli, Acesur y Dcoop presentan ofertas finales
The sale of Deoleo, the Spanish olive oil giant behind brands such as Carbonell, Koipe, Bertolli, and Carapelli, has entered its final stage. The company's owners, CVC and Alchemy, have set Monday, October 26, as the deadline for interested parties to submit binding offers.
Three main groups are competing for the acquisition. Italy's Coricelli is currently the frontrunner with an offer of approximately 500 million euros, submitted through the Seville-based holding Farmers Elite. Spanish firm Acesur, owned by the Guillén family and producer of Coosur and La Española, has also proposed a figure close to 500 million euros.
The Andalusian cooperative Dcoop, led by Antonio Luque, has submitted an offer of around 460 million euros. To address potential competition concerns, Dcoop has indicated a willingness to sell its 50% stake in the Pompeian brand, which it shares in the United States market.
