Deoleo sale: CVC and Alchemy set deadline for binding bids

Private equity firms CVC and Alchemy have set a deadline of October 26 for interested industrial groups to submit binding offers for the acquisition of Deoleo, the owner of brands such as Carbonell and Bertolli. The goal is to sign a sale agreement within approximately one month.

Three main contenders have emerged in the bidding process. The Italian family business Coricelli is currently the frontrunner following a €500 million proposal made last summer. Following closely is the Spanish company Acesur, with a bid near €500 million. The third offer comes from the Andalusian cooperative Dcoop, valued at approximately €470 million.

Deoleo has recently seen a financial turnaround, reporting a turnover of €821 million and a profit of €19.7 million for 2025. The company operates in 68 countries and manages 29 brands.
