Platense, Mitre and Chilean clubs reveal preseason plans and player moves

Argentina's Platense moved its squad to Mar del Plata for a pre‑season camp ahead of the Clausura, Libertadores tie‑ups and the Copa Argentina. The team will train at the Newbery Athletic Complex and the beach, play a friendly against Aldosivi on July 4 and then return to Vicente López. New arrivals include midfielder Juan Pablo Cozzani from Saudi Arabia and several youth prospects, while a list of injured players continues rehab.

Club Mitre announced the signing of forward Lautaro Mendoza from Boca Unidos and the return of striker Favio Cabral, bolstering the attacking options as the Primera Nacional restarts.

In Chile, Deportes Concepción confirmed it intends to terminate the contract of Brazilian goalkeeper César Dutra to free a foreign‑player slot for the second stage of the season, aiming to improve its chances of staying out of the relegation zone. Separately, Universidad de Concepción secured the loan of 21‑year‑old forward Iam González from Iquique, adding a young attacking option after a limited impact last season.
