Deportes Temuco announced the appointment of Emiliano Astorga as the club's new head coach, replacing Arturo Sanhueza after a 4‑1 defeat to Deportes Copiapó. Astorga, 65, previously led Deportes Puerto Montt and is tasked with improving Temuco's position in Chile's Primera B.

In Mexico, Tigres are searching for a successor to departing coach Guido Pizarro. Former Cruz Azul manager Juan Reynoso, who ended the club's 23‑year title drought by winning the Guardianes 2021 tournament, has been proposed for the role by Tigres' vice‑president of sport Gerardo Torrado. The club plans to narrow the shortlist to three candidates before making a final decision.
