Deportivo Cali wins fourth Colombian Liga Femenina title
Deportivo Cali has been crowned champion of the Colombian Liga Femenina for the fourth time, securing their third consecutive title. In the second leg of the final held at the Palmaseca stadium, Cali defeated Independiente Santa Fe 4-2, resulting in a 7-4 aggregate victory.
Despite an early goal from Santa Fe’s Mariana Zamorano, Deportivo Cali responded through Melanin Aponzá and Ingrid Guerra. Guerra was a standout performer, scoring twice to seal the victory. This achievement makes Deportivo Cali the most successful club in the history of the Colombian women's league, being the first to reach four titles and the first to achieve a ‘tricampeonato’.
In other Colombian football news, Millonarios has announced the squad for their upcoming match against Independiente Medellín, notably including Juan Guillermo Cuadrado for his first potential minutes with the club. Meanwhile, Deportivo Cali’s men's team is showing strong form under Rafael Dudamel, currently sitting second in the Liga BetPlay II-2026 standings following a 2-0 win over Águilas Doradas.
