Deportivo de La Coruña unveils new anthem “Voa” composed by Xoel López

Spanish singer‑songwriter Xoel López was commissioned by Deportivo de La Coruña to create a new club anthem titled “Voa”. He wrote the lyrics in a single evening and produced a full demo the next day, completing the composition within two days. The recording involved the Galician Symphony Orchestra, traditional Galician musicians and the Kilomberos de Monte Alto, and took place in locations across A Coruña, Oleiros and Madrid.

“Voa” will debut in the hours before the Teresa Herrera tournament on 11‑12 August, with a music video shot between 30 July and 2 August around the Orzán and Marina areas. López said the song reflects his personal connection to the club and to Galician identity, aiming to resonate with supporters both locally and abroad.
