Deportivo La Coruña secured promotion to Spain's top football tier for the first time in eight years. Coach Antonio Hidalgo praised the city's support, saying "the people have pushed us a lot and the city has turned out, they deserve it," and highlighted the season's challenges and the joy of reaching the objective.

Midfielder David Mella, who has been sidelined by injury, joined the celebrations, noting that the club's fans feel "like Champions" rather than just a Primera crowd. He expressed pride in the team's achievement, recalled the difficult periods the club endured, and said he is working with physiotherapists to return to action as soon as possible.
