Deportivo La Coruña fans travel to Valladolid for promotion showdown
Over 3,000 supporters of Deportivo La Coruña are traveling to Valladolid for the decisive LaLiga Hypermotion match at José Zorrilla, where a win secures promotion to the Primera División. More than 15,000 season‑ticket holders applied for tickets; only 1,058 have guaranteed seats in the away section. Federation deputy Carlos Carballal described the demand as “incredible” and said the exact number of travelling fans is hard to calculate, though estimates exceed 2,000.
The match has been classified as high‑risk by the State Commission against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport, prompting Real Valladolid to restrict visiting fans to a limited zone. Some supporters have lodged police complaints alleging ticket‑scam schemes, but authorities confirm that all fans with tickets will have assured seating.
