Deportivo Pasto appoints new assistant coach as top scorer submits resignation

Former Colombian forward Wilson Morelo has been hired as assistant coach of Deportivo Pasto. Holding a CONMEBOL Pro Licence, he will take charge on the bench for the eleven matches while head coach Jonathan Risueño serves a suspension imposed by DIMAYOR.

Forward Andrey Estupiñán has submitted a resignation citing just cause over alleged contractual breaches. The striker, the league’s top scorer with 13 goals and under contract until December 2026, has not received an official response from the club, leaving his future with Deportivo Pasto uncertain.
