Deportivo Quito player Pablo Emilio Ríos Maza located after disappearance

Pablo Emilio Ríos Maza, a 15-year-old football player for the Deportivo Quito academies, has been located after being reported missing in Quito, Ecuador.

The teenager, a central defender who had been with the club for approximately two years, was last seen on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 23, in the Monteserrín sector. He was reportedly walking near Eloy Alfaro Avenue while attempting to take a bus to his training sessions in Carcelén when he failed to arrive.

Following an intense search involving family members, security camera footage, and assistance from the club, the Fiscalía General del Estado confirmed on September 25 that the youth has been found. Specific details regarding the circumstances of his discovery were not provided.
