Deportivo San Pedro defeats Aurora FC 2-1 in Liga Nacional

Deportivo San Pedro secured a 2-1 victory against Aurora FC during the fourth round of the Torneo Apertura 2026 in the Guatemalan Liga Nacional. The match, played at San Pedro's home stadium, saw the newly promoted side move into contention for the top of the league standings.

Sebastián Colón opened the scoring for San Pedro in the 14th minute following a corner kick. Later, in the 43rd minute, Germán Águila converted a penalty awarded after a video review by the Football Video Support (FVS) system. Aurora FC managed to reduce the deficit in the 64th minute through a goal by Diego Ruiz, but San Pedro maintained their lead until the final whistle.
