Deportivo secure loan signing of Angeliño from Roma

José Ángel Esmorís Tasende, known as Angeliño, has joined Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña on a loan from A.S. Roma until 30 June 2027, with an option to buy. The 29‑year‑old left‑back returns to the club where he began his career after a decade of spells across Europe, including Manchester City’s academy, New York City FC, Girona, Mallorca, NAC Breda, PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Galatasaray and Roma.

Deportivo, newly promoted to LaLiga EA Sports, announced the move as its seventh signing of the summer window. Angeliño will compete for the left‑back position with fellow newcomer Quagliata, adding depth to a defensive line that already features several goalkeepers and centre‑backs. The loan marks the first training session for Angeliño with the club and fulfills his childhood dream of playing for the team that shaped his early football years.
