Deputy Araujo criticizes 2027 Budget and supports disability rights

Jorge Neri “Koky” Araujo Hernández, a national deputy for Tierra del Fuego representing the Movimiento Popular Fueguino (MPF), has expressed opposition to aspects of the 2027 National Budget project submitted by the national government.

Araujo Hernández indicated that he will support legislative initiatives concerning universities and disability rights. He specifically highlighted the importance of the national disability emergency, noting that the introduction of the 2027 Budget has complicated ongoing negotiations to extend this emergency status.

Committees for Disability and Budget and Finance are scheduled to meet on Wednesday, September 23, to issue a report on the project that proposes extending the National Disability Emergency until December 31, 2027.
