Deputy Dr. Vinicius Leads Piauí Coalition Convention Ahead of 2026 Elections

On Saturday, July 25, a large gathering in Teresina formalized the coalition "O povo do Piauí em primeiro lugar" that unites six parties – the Federation Brazil da Esperança (comprising PT, PCdoB and PV) together with MDB, PSD, Republicanos, PDT and PSB. The event, attended by many supporters, marked the official alliance for the 2026 electoral cycle in the state of Piauí.

Deputy Dr. Vinicius Nascimento, the government leader in the Piauí State Assembly, highlighted the strong turnout, saying, "Seeing this convention with so many people who follow our work daily shows the strength of our journey." He pledged that the campaign will focus on accountability for past actions and on projects in health, education and family agriculture. In an interview he added, "One of the biggest conventions in history… the unity of this team will show the projects we have to develop the state." The convention also served to endorse Dr. Vinicius’s candidacy for re‑election to the assembly.
