Deputy Flavio Nogueira joins Luís Correia Fest closing in Brazil

Federal Deputy Flavio Nogueira (PT) attended the closing ceremony of the Luís Correia Fest on 26 July, marking the 88th anniversary of the municipality’s emancipation. He highlighted the city’s historic role as a maritime link and its growing tourism potential, noting its place on the "Rota das Emoções" coastal route. The ten‑day celebration (17‑26 July) featured national acts such as Timbalada, Limão com Mel and Marcynho Sensação, as well as local band Brisa Roots, and included the inauguration of a new entrance portal for the city.

The event underscored efforts to boost tourism in Luís Correia, Piauí, and to promote local infrastructure development.
