Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu Gains Support from Bende Traditional Rulers for Third Term

The Bende South State Constituency (Ikwuisi) Traditional Rulers Council announced its endorsement of Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu’s bid for a third term in the House of Representatives, citing his legislative performance, constituency projects and ability to attract federal development.

Council chairman Eze Uchendu Okorie said the rulers “are fully supporting you” and dismissed any zoning arrangement for the seat. Monarch Eze P.C. Onyegbu also rejected the zoning argument, stating that no such agreement ever existed and praising Kalu’s effective oversight, networking and delivery of impactful projects across Bende Federal Constituency.
