Derby men's soccer team secures first-ever club victory

The Derby men’s senior soccer team achieved its first-ever club victory with a 4-1 win against Fitzroy Crossing Social Soccer on Sunday. This match was only the second meeting between the two teams and represents a significant milestone for the local soccer community.

The club expressed gratitude to Derby District High School for providing facilities and ongoing support. Following recent lighting upgrades at Derby Town Oval, organizers are discussing plans for a potential showcase event later this year that could include teams from Broome and Fitzroy Crossing.
