Taito and Game Addict announce major video game releases

Taito Corporation has announced that the classic RPG titles ‘Estpolis Denki I & II’ will be released in 2027. The collection will include the original 1993 game and its 1995 prequel, ‘Estpolis Denki II’. The release is planned for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Steam. The project is being developed with the cooperation of series planner Masahide Miyata to ensure an accurate port to modern platforms.

Separately, Game Addict has released ‘Derby Stallion 2’, a horse racing simulation game, for the Nintendo Switch 2. The title features updated breeding theories, 3D cel-shaded visuals, and new racing tactics such as ‘great escape’. The game includes real-world data for famous horses and allows players to compete in both Japanese local racing and international events like the Kentucky Derby. KADOKAWA Game Linkage has also released a companion guidebook and pedigree catalog to support the launch.
