Derek Chisora names Tyson Fury as toughest career opponent

British heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora has reflected on his nearly 20-year professional career, identifying Tyson Fury as his toughest opponent. Despite facing elite fighters such as Oleksandr Usyk and Vitali Klitschko, Chisora cited Fury’s repeated dominance as the defining challenge of his career, noting, “He beat me three times – that f***ing ‘Gypsy King’ [Fury].”

Chisora’s career includes 50 professional bouts and two unsuccessful attempts at the WBC heavyweight title, losing to Klitschko in 2012 and Fury in later contests. While he previously faced Deontay Wilder in what was expected to be a farewell fight, a recent face-off with WBA heavyweight champion Murat Gassiev suggests the 42-year-old may continue competing.
