Derek McInnes sets two records after Rangers Manager of the Month award

Rangers manager Derek McInnes has set two records following his appointment as the Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for September. He is the first manager in the award's history to win the title with four different clubs, having previously achieved the honor with Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, and Hearts. Additionally, his 13 total monthly awards constitute a new record for a single manager.

As the season progresses, McInnes faces squad management challenges following the return of injured players. With Tuur Rommens returning to training and captain Lawrence Shankland expected back in November, the manager must navigate selection dilemmas in the attacking lineup. While Shankland was highly productive prior to his injury, players such as Kevin Kelsy and Ryan Naderi have maintained momentum in his absence.
