Derek Richard Thomas denies drug use in Rumer Willis custody dispute

Derek Richard Thomas has filed a declaration in the Los Angeles Superior Court alleging that actress Rumer Willis is deliberately interfering with his court-ordered parenting time with their three-year-old daughter, Louetta.

In the filing, Thomas denied previous allegations made by Willis regarding his alleged drug use, describing her claims as “materially false and misleading.” He rejected assertions that his conduct endangers their daughter or that he has failed to cooperate in co-parenting efforts.

Thomas is requesting that the court maintain the existing custody arrangement established in June, which granted Willis primary physical custody and Thomas parenting time every other weekend. He is also seeking restrictions to prevent Willis from removing Louetta from California or enrolling her in school without his consent. He further alleged that Willis used supervised visitation periods as a negotiating chip regarding other changes to their visitation agreement.
