DERELIKT Retro Sci‑Fi Horror FPS Announced for PC Release Later This Year

Developer Visuwyg and publisher Hyperstrange have unveiled DERELIKT, a narrative‑driven retro first‑person shooter that channels classic PS1‑era sci‑fi horror. The game is set aboard the Von Neumann Outpost, a derelict research station built into an asteroid orbiting Saturn, where systems are failing and survivors offer conflicting accounts. Influenced by titles such as System Shock 2, Alien Resurrection and Doom 3, DERELIKT emphasizes survival: limited ammunition, health and inventory space, and interactions with more than a dozen NPCs each with their own motives.

DERELIKT is scheduled to launch later this year on PC via Steam, featuring PS1‑style visuals combined with modern controls and quality‑of‑life upgrades. Players will explore cramped corridors, laboratories and crew quarters, solving environmental puzzles while managing scarce resources in a tense, atmospheric setting.
